IntaWood Products Ltd is a leader in flatpack joinery, door, and CNC solutions. What started over 20 years ago in a garage now operates from a large facility beside Hamilton Airport.
With ambitions to broaden their reach and promote their revolutionary IntaPack joinery system, founders John and Lisa approached me to build their first-ever website — surprisingly, after nearly two decades in business without one.
Because IntaWood was already an established and trusted company, my goal was to ensure their first website made an immediate impact.
The Technology
Built on Rocketspark CMS, the website features an extensively customised layout using HTML, CSS, light JavaScript interactivity, hand-crafted animations, and custom-designed iconography to create a premium, distinctive experience.
The Design
I expanded on the colours already present in IntaWood’s branding, introducing rich blacks, layered greys, and a deep teal to create a visual identity that feels capable, sophisticated, and grounded.
Sections subtly float above the background to create depth, while carefully placed textures and metallic-inspired button styling draw inspiration from IntaWood’s workshop environment and machinery.
Professional photography, whitespace, textures, and informative content were balanced intentionally throughout the site to create a polished and engaging browsing experience.
The SEO
From an SEO perspective, the website has also performed strongly. At the time of writing, it averaged an 8% click-through rate on Google within New Zealand and 6% globally over the previous 12 months — more recently increasing to 11% in New Zealand and 9.1% globally.
