NZ's First Shark Tracking App
The Dream Factory is proud developer of best-selling app "The Great White App".
This Android and iOS app allows users to see sharks tagged by Shark Scientist Dr. Riley Elliott, exploring their journeys on an interactive map learning about their stories.
The app was designed to raise awareness and funds towards shark conservation and Dr. Elliott's study of Great White Sharks. It reached #1 on the App Store and Google Play and has charted in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
The project involved user experience design, responsive interfaces, development of key features, live data integration and managing the app publishing and compliance process.

Not Every App Needs the App Store
For many people, a Progressive Web App (PWA) offers the best of both worlds.
PWAs install directly from a web browser, work across desktop and mobile devices and can often be developed more quickly and cost-effectively than traditional (native) applications.
PWAs are an excellent choice for internal business tools or customer portals where public, mass distribution isn't required.
